With so many integrations over the last year, we turned our attention this month to optimisations and providing the same experience of using Balanced, to users from any chain. With the first two phases of Cross-chain LP and Rewards approaching front end launch we have shifted focus to completing these steps. Meanwhile, optimisations for the Relay and Intents continue to improve trading experience.
💧 Cross-Chain Liquidity Provision (LP) and Rewards: Steady progress here, allowing users to provide liquidity natively from their respective chains. For instance, Injective users will soon be able to supply liquidity to the INJ/bnUSD pair without requiring an ICON wallet. This project is being rolled out in three phases:
Phase 1: Cross-chain liquidity provision is now deployed to mainnet and should be ready for front end launch by the end of January.
Phase 2: Cross-chain rewards distribution is deployed to the mainnet and users will soon be able to earn rewards without an ICON wallet. The savings rate portion of Phase 2 is still under development.
Phase 3: BALN staking on any chain is on pause while we focus on finishing phase 1 and 2, but will allow users to stake BALN directly from their respective chains.
🔮 Intents Development: The first set of intent-enabled chains, SUI and Arbitrum, are live! Most of December we spent optimising the solver to scale. Meanwhile, work is already underway on the next wave of intent contracts for Solana, Stellar, and ICON.
🧩 ICON Network Solver: The initial iteration of the ICON Network Solver is complete and performing well on the mainnet. Throughout late November and early December, we focused on testing and optimizing the solver. We have now begun integrating Solana into the solver.
🪐 Stellar Mainnet Deployment: We continued addressing a minor issue preventing users from funding new wallets through Balanced. A solution has been built, deployed to the mainnet, and is expected to go live by mid-January.
🚀 Relay v2 for ICON and EVM: Migrations will kick off in January.
