Tasks

  1. Build and deploy a cross-chain application with xCall

Evaluation Criteria

  1. Unique to xCall - new use cases unlocked by xCall’s distinct new features (i.e. interoperability)
  2. Functionality - deployed and workable on xCall-integrated networks
  3. Implementation - quality, readable, clean code
  4. Impact - open-sourced, publicly available code via Github
  5. Sustainability - extensible and a realistic path to continue development
  6. Originality - should be an original creation. If based on an open-source code, needs to contain clear improvements on the original (and comply with applicable licenses)
  7. Cross-chain integrations - priority given to solutions that integrate as many chains as possible. Heterogeneous solutions like Cosmos ↔ ICON-Java are great! So are innovative solutions involving multiple Cosmos chains!

Instructions

  1. Create an application using xCall. This application should allow interoperability between at least two xCall-integrated networks: ICON Network, Archway Network, Neutron Network, Ethereum Network (Sepolia), Binance Smart Chain Test Network, and HAVAH Network (Altair)

This application can be in a domain that is typical of web3 (e.g. DID, DeFi, DAO, gaming, NFT, ...) or it can be in a domain more typical of general application development (e.g. security, monitoring, human-computer interaction, data analytics, AI, ...)

There will be up to 3 winners for this bounty

xCall-integrated networks: ICON Network, Archway Network (Cosmos), Neutron Network (Cosmos), Ethereum Network (Sepolia), Binance Smart Chain Network (BSC Testnet), and HAVAH Network (Altair Testnet)

Emphasis should be placed on optimizing cost and speed efficiency. Be creative in the way that you are structuring smart contracts to promote usage that is efficient for users of the contract, and also financially viable for developers

While projects can use only Cosmos or EVM and not ICON Network, we love to see teams using tools from within the ecosystem, such as DIVE (cross-chain local network setup), Drogon (development on ICON), ICON Tracker API, etc

Note that xCall is in an early stage, and it may have bugs! Bug reports are eligible for rewards as well. Please help us improve the developer experience and communicate when you have issues on the ICON Discord in the #developers channels
